Abhisam’s India office is pleased to announce that very soon some of Abhisam’s popular courses will be available in Hindi. Until now Abhisam courses were only available in English.
The first such course will be a very important one on LOTO, which stands for Lockout Tagout.
This is a very important procedure to be followed to isolate machinery from sources of energy, during maintenance or repair and shutdowns, to prevent inadvertently starting them, which could hurt people working on the machine.
LOTO is not just applicable to electrical isolation (although it is by far the most common use case), it is also used to isolate process industry equipment such as pipelines and reactors from utility connections, such as Nitrogen, before starting repair work.

लोटो (LOTO) क्या है?
रखरखाव या मरम्मत और शटडाउन के दौरान, ऊर्जा के स्रोतों से मशीनरी को अलग करने के लिए यह एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण प्रक्रिया है, ताकि अनजाने में उन्हें शुरू करने से रोका जा सके, जिससे मशीन पर काम करने वाले लोगों को चोट लग सकती है।
