LOTO-Lockout Tagout Training Workshop

About this Workshop

LOTO is an acronym for Lockout and Tagout- a preventive safety procedure that saves workers from injuries and accidents while working on machinery. Many mishaps continue to occur in workplaces, that are entirely preventable, simply because workers and managers remain ignorant of LOTO procedures. In some cases the company or organization simply does not have a formal LOTO procedure in place. Any machine be it a compressor, or a pressure vessel, or reactor with an agitator  (just to give cite some examples) has several energy and material connections to it that need to be isolated, before a worker can enter it or start maintenance on it, or carry out some other non operational activity such as a product change over. This procedure is known as LOTO.

This course is meant to be taken by engineers and managers from any industrial sector. It will help participants understand all aspects of Lockout Tagout. The workshop is in a blended learning format and it includes a one  day instructor led classroom training session followed by online access to training modules and an online exam. It is designed by experts from industry, who have a minimum of 25 years experience in various industries.
